Overview

Narcos Season 1 is the first season of Netflix's crime drama, telling the true story of Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura), the Colombian drug lord who became the richest and most powerful criminal in history. The series is set in Medellín, Colombia, in the 1970s and 1980s. It follows Escobar's rise from a small-time smuggler to the head of the Medellín Cartel. The first season ends with Escobar becoming a congressman and beginning his political career.
