Patriot Games is a 1992 action thriller film directed by Phillip Noyce, based on the 1987 novel by Tom Clancy. The film stars Harrison Ford as Jack Ryan, a CIA analyst who is on vacation in London with his family. He foils an assassination attempt on a member of the British royal family, killing one of the terrorists. The terrorist's brother, Sean Miller (Sean Bean), vows revenge and comes after Jack's family.
