Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 1 is the first season of Netflix's live-action fantasy adventure series, based on the beloved animated series of the same name. The first season follows Aang (Gordon Cormier), a young Avatar who must master all four elements to save the world. He is discovered by two siblings, Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley), who help him on his journey. They are pursued by Prince Zuko (Dallas Young), the exiled son of the Fire Lord. The first season is a live-action remake of the first book of the animated series, "Book One: Water." The first season ends with Aang mastering waterbending and preparing to learn earthbending.
