Succession Season 2
Overview
Succession Season 2 continues the story of the Roy family. The season follows the family as they try to fend off a hostile takeover attempt by a rival media mogul. Kendall (Jeremy Strong) is now a broken man, subservient to his father. He is forced to be the "sacrificial lamb" and take the fall for the company's crimes — including the cruise line sexual harassment scandal. Shiv (Sarah Snook) is brought into the company as a potential successor, but she is given a meaningless role. Roman (Kieran Culkin) is sent to Turkey to negotiate a deal, but he is captured and tortured by local rebels. The season ends with Kendall betraying his father again, this time publicly at a press conference, revealing the company's crimes. The second season is famous for its dialogue, which is full of vicious insults, corporate jargon, and hilarious profanity. Lines like "You are not serious people" and "I am the eldest boy!" have become iconic.
